Not the best Share to your Steam activity feed. It's perhaps telling that the Face works tech is being demoed using a bald man - matching it with some proper follicle rendering technology would likely bring even the GTX Titan to its knees.
Adaptive tessellation keeps the curves of his face perfectly smooth. Apparently it requires over instructions for each of those pixels to look like this. The mechanics of the face expressions are custom and done on CUDA, which is disappointing, since we have the Open-CL and direct compute open standards around. FaceWorks shading gives Ira lifelike skin, eyes, lips and teeth.
